Head Coach- Nathan Dortmann “Frenchie”

Nathan is a Professional Coach turned Pro Triathlete to better understand his athlete’s needs. He is a passionate coach with an individualised approach utilising science and his years of experience. Having established his career as a high-performance coach Nathans passion lies in high level endurance performance. 

Nathan understands athletes needs from a unique perspective having spent many years working his way through the age-group ranks to turning pro. He is currently focusing on supporting other professional triathletes and elite AG triathletes towards their race goals.

Junior Coach- Maurece Jackson

Maurece is our junior triathlon coach that works closely with Head Coach- Nathan. He is an Elite Age Group Triathlete himself and brings a fresh perspective to the sport and coaching. He is also a part-time PT as well as undergoing his studies in Exercise Phys. He supports both beginner and experienced athletes on their journeys. Swim Coach- Michael Boult “White Loaf”

Michael is an emerging Professional Triathlete and Coach balancing full-time work with his triathlon passion. Commonly referred to as ‘White Loaf’ for his niche obsession with bringing a full loaf of white bread on his 6hr training days he’s sure to make you laugh once or twice. Michael grew up competitively swimming and brings a wealth of swim knowledge to the pool deck. You’ll find Michael at our Monday and Friday evening swim sessions. 

Overview of Michael's Achievements & Qualifications:

  • 2024 6th place as a pro at Ironman 70.3 Tasmania 
  • Professional triathlete, raced Ironman elite fields domestically and overseas for 2 years
  • Reached Open National level in swimming and surf lifesaving
  • Triathlon Australia Development Coach (in progress!)
  • ASCTA and AUSTSWIM swimming instructor and coach for 7 years
  • Held Mack Horton’s underwear while getting his autograph before he was famous
