The Bridge to Brisbane 5 & 10km Training Program is here!
With the growing demand for run-specific coaching, we're excited to launch Rebound's Bridge to Brisbane Training Program, a 10-week community-focused build for the 5 & 10km.
This program is built for first-time runners, experienced runners chasing a PB, triathletes wanting to sharpen their run, and anyone who trains better with people around them. Running is the priority, with optional cross-training available for those who want to use swimming or cycling to support their performance.
This is a community-focused, race-specific program designed to get you to the Bridge to Brisbane start line feeling prepared, physically and mentally. It's not just about race day. It's about building confidence, training with intention, and enjoying the process along the way.
This program supports a wide range of athletes, including:
- Runners preparing for their first ever 5 or 10km
- Runners looking for structure and a crew to train with
- Those chasing a faster time or a new PB
- Triathletes wanting a focused, run-specific build
- Athletes who value optional cross-training as part of their preparation.
No matter where you're starting from, the program adapts to your experience, background, and goals.
Mid-Program Time Trial
At the halfway mark we'll run a group time trial, a chance to test your fitness, get a feel for race pace, and line up alongside your training crew before the big day.
Cost:
- Run only membership - $22/week
- Run + Cross Training membership - $29/week
- Complimentary Maurten gift pack on sign-up
In person run sessions:
- Tuesday 5:30pm, Musgrave Park Pool, South Brisbane
- Thursday 5:30am, location varies depending on session
- Saturday 6:30am, Long run, location varies (option for extra kms beforehand)
